So I finally have an update on our mold situation. Thank you to all those who have been so supportive and who have been willing to take us in or find us a place to live. We truly appreciate it. The owner of our apartments finally came into town last week. By this time it hadn't snowed in quite a while so there were only faint spots since we are trying to be diligent about cleaning the spots that come up. The owner took a look at it, then went into the attic to look at it. He said he saw no water damage at all. He tested the paint on our walls and found that it was oil based paint. He said with an oil based paint water can make the paint turn different colors so his theory was that it wasn't mold at all but instead the condensation of water was causing the paint to turn colors. I don't know if I believe that or not and I told him so. I also told him that he's going to have a tough time renting this place out after we leave if he doesn't get this problem taken care of; whatever it is. He and the manager are still trying to pinpoint the problem, but until then he has offered to hire someone to come in to make sure it's not mold and that it's not harmful. Until then we are planning to stick it out here until April when our contract is up. Then we are DEFINITELY moving.
So in happier news, I have a video of my cute little lady. She is so fun. She's getting to this really great age where she loves to communicate and way she can and where she is so interested in the world around her. We love her so much.

She is adorable! I really hope they fix the mold problem and don't just make excuses. Glad you're out in April though.
Lily loved it. She kept trying to jump off of my lap. I'm not sure if this is b/c of Lady C or becuase she is always jumping these days, however, she did start smiling!! Way to go Chelsea!
We'll keep you in our prayers about your mold situation. SO sorry about that. And Chelsea is a DOLL!! She's absolutely gorgeous!
She's so cute and it looks like she's starting to get lots of hair!!
I truly hope it's not mold. Way to pull out the sassy Melanie so the owner knew you were serious. I'm glad you don't have to pack up and move just for a few months!
Oh my goodness, when did she get so big?! That video is so adorable, I love her cute little laugh. I hope you get the problem with the mold figured out soon, or that you will find a new place to live quickly when your contract is up! Good luck!
She is precious! I love her laugh and she is definitely getting to the fun age, now if I could find a way to just freeze her in that age!
This is ADORABLE! I don't know how I missed it until now. I'm not sure I saw too many smiles before this from Chelsea, and this is off the charts happy and cute! Wish I could see her. I'm not going to make it out for the wedding since it got moved (It's Jeff's and Bryce's prom night on May 9, and Phil is calling on May 10, and I start a crazy three week semester on May 11). I was going to come for the May 8 wedding and leave on the red-eye that night. Boo!
