Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Cougars!

I LOVE Cougar football. I have fond memories of going to the stake center as a young child to watch a broadcast of the games. I also have fond memories going to games with my aunt and uncle when I lived in Atlanta. So when we moved from Provo I had to admit it was one thing I would really miss...going to BYU football games. But I am one lucky gal. I have a husband who mentioned that JUST MAYBE we could go to the San Diego state game in San Diego a couple weeks ago! I looked for tickets and found they were on the pricey end, so I really couldn't justify going. But then I stumbled across some very affordable tickets on the day of the game! I'm so glad we went. It was amazing! There were so many fans in blue, I would say almost just as many BYU fans as SDS fans. And it was an interesting game. And the cougars won. And I got to sing the fight song. More than once. It was awesome. I wish I had pictures but of course I forgot to bring my camera. Luckily the hubby's cell phone captured a couple pictures for memory's sake. We're trying to remember the good games and forget games like yesterday's against TCU. :(

We have also been busy with our little 16 month old busy body AKA Chelsea. She is so busy discovering. She LOVES to run around pointing to everything and saying "Wuts-at" (What's that?). Her favorite right now is flowers. We go on walks in the neighborhood and, thanks to some awesome weather and some great neighbors, she has so many colors and types of flowers to look at. She calls them "fowa" which is her word for flowers. She especially likes the beautiful orange, pink, and purple roses growing right outside our place. Oh how we love California.

Chelsea has also figured out who Jesus is. Whenever we talk about Jesus or read stories about Jesus she will point to the picture on the wall and say "Chejus". She is quite the talker and quite the little social butterfly. She loves to play with her friends at church and we...I mean she...can't wait till she's old enough to go to nursery in December.
