Don't Leave for Tomorrow What You Can Do Today

So it's no secret that I come from a family of people who don't sleep much. A couple weeks ago my dad fell asleep at the wheel and to make a long story short, he went down a ravine. It was a drop of over 100 feet. He really shouldn't still be here with us. But he is and for that I am so grateful. He came out with just some real soreness. I think the car took the brunt of the damage.

My dad's accident has made me think a lot about what we value in this life and what we spend our time doing. My sister Devee, who is serving a mission for our church, encouraged us to read this article. We read it this week for Family Home Evening. I am so grateful that God has given us direction on what is most important in this life, what our purpose really is here on this earth, and how to make the most of all we've been given.

Life is short. Live it and love it.

I love you Dad. I'm so thankful you're still here.

Well I changed my blog so that it could be public. You can check out my old blog for more details. I was wondering if you could add choosymom7@gmail.com to your allowed readers list so that I can keep reading your blog.
Hope you are doing well!

By the way, would you mind changing the invited readers to becca.kuck@gmail.com?

By the way, I changed my blog address. It's tohaveagreatlife.blogspot.com. Love you Mel!
