Happy Birthday America!

The birthdays just don't stop! Chelsea, then Matt, now our country! Chelsea dressed up in the most darling dress she got from the Satko family for her birthday (thanks Satkos!) and we went to the Anderson barn out here for the annual fourth of July breakfast and parade in the morning. Then we went to the Colletts house for a BBQ. It was wonderful. My friend Sara, who is one of my best friends from the mission days, is AMAZING with anything having to do with food (and crafts for that matter...check out her blog here). Then we ended the night with a BBQ and some fireworks with family. What a great day; and what a great country we live in. There are so many issues going on in our country and arguments between so many people with different thoughts and ideas, but isn't that the beauty of it? We can think what we want, say what we feel, and feel comfortable and free to do so. How blessed we are to live in America.

Melanie, look at you, you little hottie! You look gorgeous! I'm glad you are having a fun Seattle Summer. I'll bet Baby C is loving it with all that family around!
