Thanksgiving

Wow what a weekend! This weekend the family all came down for Thanksgiving - my fam from Seattle and Matt's mom from Arizona. We were so grateful to have both of our families in town. We were particularly excited that we could tell them in person that we are expecting a baby! Yes, after keeping my trap shut for what felt like forever, I can finally tell people that we're pregnant! I'm twelve weeks along and due June 10th.
Thanksgiving was great. We had all the traditional food and shared it with fourteen people in a little apartment. Friday was my birthday and I received beautiful roses and a gift certificate from my husband as well as a shopping trip from mom. That was fun. As if this weekend couldn't get any better, BYU beat Utah 17-10 on Saturday. We were there and the game was AMAZING.
We are also so excited for Christmas! We got our Christmas tree out and put it up for family home evening yesterday. This really is the most wonderful time of the year. We are so grateful for such wonderful friends and family, and for this little one who we are so excited to meet.

Mel! I talked to Jen and she mentioned you are going to be a hot Momma! I had to check the blog because I knew there was going to be some news! YEAH!! Congrats! I want to see pictures as your little tummy grows! Love you!

You should not be allowed to have kids if you are going to treat them like that... going to a BYU game. That is cruel and unusual punishment.
(Brett made me put all that down)

Congratulations! That is so exciting! Ha ha ha, I think I like the comment that Nikki made, at least I think that is the Sister Taylor I knew so well in Anaheim. In any case, Happy Holidays! I agree with you, it is the best time of the year! I love your tree!
