So our first mission after arriving in Virginia, ahead of unpacking, was to find a good Easter egg hunt. We looked and looked and found out that out in these parts it's quite popular to charge a pretty penny for an Easter egg hunt. Bummer. We did, however, find out about an Easter Egg Drill at the National Marine Museum. They advertised easter activities for the kiddos so we decided to go. Turns out all it was was an opportunity to color some bunny ears. Oh well. We ended up having a great time. The museum was so interesting and reminded me of the sacrifice of so many people on behalf of our country. I felt very patriotic. I also thought about my friend Claudio. He was a fourteen year old boy when he was taught the gospel while I was serving in his ward in California. I was so blessed to know him and to remember him this day.
