One year ago on June 12, 2008 our lives became so much more enriched, so much more filled with love, and so much more complete than they were before. We dreamed of you so many times - what you would look like, what you would be like, and who you would become. We felt overwhelmed with gratitude when we found out you would actually be coming to our family. We are so grateful that you chose to come here and to let us be your parents. One year ago today we waited with anticipation as you made your way into this world. We worried about what this world would mean to you, someone so pure and innocent, but we rejoiced knowing how valiant and strong your sweet spirit was. I'm sure we've made our fair share of mistakes, and I'm sure we'll make many more in the future. We hope you know this though - that we love you. We are constantly amazed by your every waking and sleeping moment. We are so privileged to be a part of your journey in life and pray that you will always know how cherished you are. Thank you for all that you've given us and all that you have become. We love you, sweet Chelsea. Happy Birthday.
