Hi Everyone!I am excited to report that we now have our internet back. Now it's time for some updates.
This Valentine's Day was a sad one for me. Matt is a Vice President for the UVU chapter of the Association of General Contractors and he and his heavy civil focused team went out to Reno for a few days to compete in a nationwide competition. The team received project plans from a company and they then put together a proposal to fulfill the plans and represented it to the company. Universities from all over the country participated. It meant a very busy Valentine's Day for Matt. He was up at the crack of dawn and the team finished the proposal late that night. I was so glad to at least talk to him on the phone, but it made for a very lonely Valentine's Day. One great thing about the competition was that Matt was able to meet with representatives from several companies. Matt made up for missing Valentine's Day by buying me some beautiful roses and taking me out to dinner. The longer I know Matt and the closer we get the more I appreciate what love really is and how blessed I really am.
Not too long after our makeup Valentine's Day we were surprised with a visit from my mom and my sister Marina! One night they called on the phone. Mom said she had to let me go, but would call back in just a minute. Two minutes later were we surprised to see them on my front doorstep! We had a great time with them and were so glad they came out!
Well for all of you who have been waiting for new pictures of how our little Chelsea is growing, I have posted one for you all to see. She's been getting pretty big as of late and loves kicking her mom right as her mom's about to go to sleep. Every day we love her more and more and we are so excited to meet her in June.
This next few weeks will be exciting for us. We feel so blessed with all that we have been given and with all that the near future will bring!

Melanie, I'm so glad that you've started posting again. It's really fun for me to read your blog! I can't believe you're having a baby! Have to say part of me is really jealous and the other part of me is really happy for you! It'll definitely be a while for me though, don't worry. :) I think that you'll be a great mom, you've been such an incredible friend to me and I know that your daughter will be lucky to have you as her mom. I'm really excited to meet her (eventually)! I love you Mel!
Melanie you look so cute! Glad to hear you are doing well and that you had fun with mom and Marina (we drove them to the airport :) ). I heard Matt is trying to get an internship up here for the summer that would be great to see you guys up here!
